It is a post-apocalyptic saga spanning multiple timelines telling the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost.

Adapted from the classic Japanese film “Ikiru,” this drama stars Bill Nighy as a veteran civil servant who is an important cog within London bureaucracy as it struggles to rebuild after World War II. Buried under paperwork at the office, lonely at home, his life has long felt empty and meaningless. However, when he receives a shattering medical diagnosis, he is forced to act to try and grasp fulfillment before it goes beyond reach.

Beginning with the release of her debut album in 1987, the narrative charts six turbulent years in O’Connor’s career filled with rebellion, iconoclasm, and creativity as the musician strove to rewrite the script of mainstream music and femininity.
